    Bike recycling program which through the assistance of volunteers, refurbishes donated bikes. These are distributed to needy recipients and school bike programs.

  • YMCA Youth Hubs

    Our Youth Hubs in West Ballarat and South Ballarat provide safe and structured environments for young people aged 10 - 17 years to have fun with their friends, participate in various activities and learn new skills. We believe in the power of inspired young people and encourage them to shine in their everyday lives and build strong futures.

    At our Youth Hubs, our dedicated staff and volunteers organise a wide variety of activities and opportunities for young people to learn and acquire specific skills. Sessions may include an incursion, excursion, sports, and are centred on five general themes: social engagement, job skills training, independence skills training, safety education and health promotion.

    Young people have the opportunity to be involved, feel heard and to take part in leadership roles.

    West Ballarat Youth Hub

    ​35 Violet Grove, Wendouree

    West Ballarat Youth Hub is a space for young people aged 10 to 17​​ years. 

    •   Tuesday 3.30pm - 6.00pm Seniors Group (14 - 17 years) 
    •   Wednesday 3.30pm - 5.30pm Juniors Group (10 - 12 years)
    •   Thursday 3.30pm - 6.00pm Intermediate Group (12 - 14 years)

    South Ballarat Youth Hub 

    Delacombe Community Hub, 16 Nandiriog Drive, Delacombe

    The Ballarat South Youth Hub caters for young people aged 11 to 17 years old, with the program offered during school terms​: 

    •   Friday 3.30pm - 6.00pm Intermediate/Seniors Group (11 - 17 years)

  • YMCA Connect Camp

    Connect Camp is a school holiday camp for young people aged 8 to 16 who are considered vulnerable, disadvantaged or at risk. 

    On Camp, kids work with experienced and passionate YMCA volunteers, who provide intensive support to the campers through one-on-one mentoring. Along with other kids from around the state, they are encouraged to realise their potential and learn about community values and leadership.
